Impromptu Poetry: 2. Water

Light shimmers off of it

Glitter on my moonlight skin

It runs through my heart

Soothing aches of mortal sin

It slips like time through my fingers

Silk between a moment and another

Beads drip on and on and on

Weightless, no fear, no bother

Calms the silent screams

And tears droughts to meadows

Puts you to a gentle sleep

Even drowning mellows.
