Artificial Intelligence is influencing the way we live and interact with. Artificial Intelligence is a branch of computer science that means the artificial creation of human-like intelligence that can learn, plan, reason, perceive, and process natural language. It emphasizes the development of machines which can bring immense socio-economic opportunities. AI services are also boosted by the collection of “Big Data” and the expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT), as it gives the perfect environment for new AI applications and services to grow. At present we can see that AI is found in almost every field such as education, healthcare diagnostics, targeted treatment, public safety, entertainment, transportation, service robots, and many more.

Further, Artificial Intelligence is classified as “general AI” and “narrow AI”. General AI is not domain-specific and is hypothetical but can learn and perform tasks whereas Narrow AI performs specific tasks within a particular domain. Advantages and disadvantages go hand in hand. We have so far seen that how AI can benefit society but it can not be neglected that AI creates new security and safety challenges, AI is unpredictable and can harm living beings, and one of the biggest risks AI faces is the risk of hacking. Also with the growth of AI, there is the downfall of human employment. AI systems should not pose security risks to the Internet and its users, the AI system designers, and builders need to apply the user-centric approach. The most important thing in AI is ‘ALGORITHMS”. Simple algorithms can work for simple applications, but to form strong artificial intelligence algorithms are quite complex.

Based on strength, AI has 2 categories: strong and weak. Weak AI is designed to perform one particular job like any personal assistant (Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri) answering a question or any game played with a computer. But Strong AI performs human-like tasks and can solve the problem without human intervention.

Self-driving cars are the biggest example of a time of Artificial Intelligence and kit ensures the fewest causalities as they use very calculative algorithms. AI in voice recognition systems is the most widely used AI application. The most common names everybody must have heard are AI-based. It includes Siri, Tesla, Cogito, Netflix, Pandora, Nest(Google), Boxever, Flying Drones, Echo, etc. Artificial Intelligence will improve, develop, and govern with gaining popularity.
